love notes

“What stood out to me about the process is that there is no space in typical day to day life or even most conventional therapies to really delve into issues about how trauma can shape eroticism, and how to transform your erotic self through intentional work. The space Cody creates in their Somatic Sex Education work is deeply powerful and so important. The work itself was highly dynamic, flexible, and educational in a way that deepened my understanding of my body in ways I do not think I could have accessed without Cody’s guidance and tactful care. Thank you”

“The session I had with Cody was profound. The healing shift that occurred has stayed with me. I feel connected to healing that is rooted in collective liberation. Cody’s presence is calm and comforting. I deeply appreciate the knowledge and skills that they are so beautifully cultivating and sharing.”

“I booked with Cody to explore my newfound desires around kink and submission. I felt profoundly supported and safe with how they began the session and asked me thoughtful questions to help me identify my desires and limits. Once the exploration began I felt that I could fully immerse myself in the experience because of their attention to detail, care and confidence. I left the session feely profoundly grateful to have accessed the exact type of touch and energy that I needed, all within a deeply caring and professional container. I would recommend Cody to anyone who wants to explore their desires, trauma, kink or….really anything related to sexual healing”

Somatic sex education is a form of body-centred sex education and healing work that emphasizes the importance of pleasure, embodied consent, and permission-giving or de-shaming....modalities that were originally developed to create a safe forum for gay men living with and dying of AIDS to share intimacy and sensuality.

Having a sex positive life means actively committing to practicing the strengths & skills that reflect the life you want for yourself....Getting clear on what nourishes you sexually is needed so you can say ‘yes!’ to *more* of what connects you, turns you on, feels pleasurable, and satisfies you.

Experiences of companioned, purposeful intensity can reopen neural learning windows. They can melt rigid identity, destabilize the trance of normal, and make the impossible feel possible. In the context of a loving community of practice devoted to personal and social liberation, many of us found our way to profound healing and well-being.
